My passion for photography started in high school when my parents bought me my first

"real" camera. I was hooked from then on, studying photography in college and learning all I could, from the history and rules of photography to developing photographs in the dark room. And, of course, lots and lots of practice.

I later worked for a photography company taking school pictures and I enjoyed traveling around the state, making memories with students, every day of the week. It wasn't long before I started working in the studio, which opened up a whole new world of creative opportunities.

Working in the studio gave me the opportunity to spend time with each client, getting to know them and work with them to capture the photographs that truly reflected who they were. This also meant I was able to photograph seniors, couples, babies, children and families.

Each session was unique and I loved it. 

I stopped working at the studio not long after getting married and have since been blessed with five children. Despite not working outside my home during this time, I continued taking pictures every chance I could . I am continually taking pictures and have spent a lot of time enhancing my editing skills. In more recent years I have been privileged to photography some amazing families, seniors, newborns, children, engaged couples and many remarkable individuals.

I love photography. I love helping others to see the beauty within themselves- and capturing that beauty- at every stage of people's lives.
